Vermont Porchtraits Project

A Benefit to Aid the Homeless

While we shelter in place, why not donate something for those with no place to call home (and get a family portrait in the bargain)?

If you donate $50 or more to Good Samaritan Haven (or UWAC for Vergennes), I will come by (maintaining a very safe distance) and create a fun Porchtrait of you and your family in memory of this “special” at-home time.

Vermont is starting to go back to work, and we are waiting to see how things sugar out as the state slowly opens the spigot of business and interaction. If you would like to schedule a Porchtrait session,  send me an email and we will see if we can generate interest in a series of consecutive sessions in your town.

We have so far raised $4000 from 65 Families in Montpelier, Barre, Northfield, Waterbury, Berlin, Graniteville, and Vergennes.

Our project has gotten a bit of press coverage in the Times Argus, VT Digger, Parade, and the Washington Post.

Don't want to get a porchtrait taken, but want to donate to this cause? Simple: go here.

Tell us something about your time in The Great Pause, something you have learned to appreciate anew, something you have learned about yourself and your family, or your community, something that gives you hope in these strange and difficult times.

Want to see more images from the project? We have that here.
