A Walk in the Park

The Voorhis family recently hired me to spend an hour or so with them in Hubbard Park, capturing images of them together in a semi-organized way.

This was instigated by Liz’s mother, because the young family is shipping out to Morocco, where Liz will be teaching math at an international school, and mom (and Liz) wanted some keepsake images to print and have at home.

So mostly we just walked and talked, and found fun places to pose and play around. With two rambunctious and curious boys, there is never a dull moment. The key is being attentive to them and catching those moments before they pass. And also carefully guiding the little ones into situations where they show who they are.

Here are some of my favorite moments from our time together. Bon voyage!
