Built by Newport needed some fresh images of their production processes and new equipment, in order to populate their website.
This entailed spending half a day at the company's very pristine and impressive factory in Newport, capturing still and video images of furniture being made, glue being spread, wood being clamped, and chairs being painted. We also found time at the end for a few quick staff headshots.
One of the most important things the client wanted was some imagery of their new Italian CNC machines, which are behind a thick layer of safety glass, are very camera shy, and move way too fast. But we persisted and got some images we were all happy with, as well as a short video that we feel showed off the innate coolness of the machines with a bit of a 2001: A Space Odyssey vibe.
